The results of the female DNA (FDNA) samples in this study where
not effected when contaminated with male DNA (MDNA) prior to PCR
amplification. Contamination levels of Male DNA in Female DNA ranged
from a 1:1 ratio to a 1:256 ratio. Samples samples 1-9 are Female
DNA samples contaminated with Male DNA. In all cases the female
specific band pattern remained visible. Amplification did improve
as the ratio of male DNA decreased. Sample 10 is a control female,
sample 11 is a control male, and sample 12 is a control blank.
